Powell River Sustainability Stakeholders is a membership program sponsored by Immanence Magazine for people and businesses upholding these basic ideals:
1. A viable economic future for Powell River must include the support of local business wherever possible, coupled with fostering forward-thinking sustainable economic development.
2.The promotion, practice, and support of permanently sustainable local agriculture (permaculture) is KEY to securing a reliable supply of clean, healthy food for Powell River.
3. The open discussion of ideas and sharing of knowledge is vital to the successful development of replacements for out-dated systems.
How Does it Work?
Membership is available to individuals or businesses pledging to uphold the 3 ideals listed above.
Business members offer discounts or perks to reward other card-holding members for upholding the 3 ideals.
(eg., 10% off select items; buy 1 and get another at 50% off--whatever fits your business model.)

How Do You Become Involved?
Individual Membership Card $20
• Enjoy the perks at member businesses.
• Place 3 LINES FREE in the PRSS Message Board in Immanence (anything goes—have fun with it!).
• Enjoy discounts on Immanence special events.
Business Membership Card $50 (Agricultural Businesses only $40)
• One card issued per business; extra cards for employees at $15 each.
• Benefit from discounts at other member businesses.
• Place 3 LINES FREE in the classified section of Immanence (anything goes—make it work for you).
• Get unlimited $50 business card–sized ads (regular $80). Buy 4 BC–sized ads to create a half page ad for only $200 (regular $260)
